The Adelphi University Physics Department was once again recognized by the Society of Physics Students this year. We were named an Outstanding chapter indicating we were one of the ten percent physics clubs in the country.
Aditya Samaroo has accepted an offer to spend a semester at Brookhaven National Lab (BNL) to conduct research. We will be there in the spring of 2018.
The Adelphi Physics Club worked with Cubs for Coping to make teddy bears for children. Cubs for Coping is a really cool nonprofit group that brings their bears to disadvantaged children in hospitals and shelters. More information can be found here, http://www.cubsforcoping.org/.
